Dear family and friends, shalom blessings and a very Happy New Year to you in this still-fresh season of the Year 2023,
Welcome to the 7th issue of our Look Up Newsletter. This Newsletter was initially designed by my children's mum, Ms. Ivy Florence Williamson. more than 10 years ago. At the time we run the Vocation 4 Life Foundation as a Prayer ministry to family and friends. Through the online outreach run by Ivy Florence, it was reaching out to individuals and family units in 15 nations around the world..
Background:: When she originally designed the Look Up Newsletter Ivy Florence meant it as a tool to support the vision we shared: A/ To present a witness of Divine Intervention Today. and of mainly first-hand accounts of answered prayer that reflect the reality that individuals were experiencing Divine Intervention. These were reported in the "Glory to God Report" section of each Look-Up Newsletter.
From its relaunch last year with issue 5 this mission primarily to our family and friends continues after a pause of about 12 years. In a modified format "Look Up Issue 5" included the section, HOPE STREET: with a focus on missions.
As promised in "issue 5', a prayer diary was included as an additional section in issue 6. It was to be maintained as a monthly prayer diary. There is a need therefore for prayer requests in order to keep the Prayer diary active. Dear Friend and Family please do your part to remain safe as you and your family/household walk in the blessing of Adonai into 2023.
Numbers 6:23Aaronic Benediction
22Again Adonai spoke to Moses saying,“Speak to Aaron and to his sons saying: Thus you are to bless Bnei-Yisrael, by saying to them:
24‘Adonai bless you and keep you!
25Adonai make His face to shine on you and be gracious to you!
26Adonai turn His face toward you and grant you shalom!’
27In this way they are to place My Name over Bnei-Yisrael, and so I will bless them.”

DIVINE INTERVENTION TODAY
OUR PRAYER AND PASTORAL CARE MINISTRY TEAM
I first met Aunty Joycelyn(Joycelyn Amegadoe then)two weeks before her wedding to my Uncle Victor Addom. I had been unwell with malaria fever and had missed my eldest brother's wedding ceremony a few hours earlier. My Uncle Victor sought me out in my other uncle's (late Uncle Emmanuel Tetteh) vehicle and He prayed! It was more like He IMPLORED HEAVEN, literally went before the throne of God on my behalf!I recovered and was well enough to attend the wedding reception where I met my Uncle's bride-to-be for the first time, dancing at the reception. I probably remember very little else at that reception but how relaxed she was😊! Sister Joycelyn also helps run an international online prayer network 24/7. She has a very active compassionate ministry to widows and mentors young couples. Sister Joycelyn has been a real encouragement to us at the zoom sessions. Pastor Samuel Somuah Asante and I first met in 1982, at St Augustine's College(Augusco), Cape Coast at Sixth Form. He was a continuing student who had been a student there since the first year, whilst I had been a Student at a different school. We were both appointed as members of the Executive of the Scripture Union: I was Assistant Prayer Secretary and he was the President of the Scripture Union. We were very close Executives, all of us like brothers. I spent a lot of time fellowshipping with Pastor Somuah, and we became very close friends. I think we were all very passionate about God, and prayer and were genuinely trusting God for a real Revival in our School! It did happen in our time too. Pastor Somuah became an Agricultural Engineer and subsequently responded to the call into full-time ministry. He is the pioneer and Senior Pastor of Jesus Witness Ministry. I am looking forward to Pastor Somuah's fellowship and exhortation and bible teaching during our Friday evening sessions in the New Year. Thank you to all our prayer network both those on our family and friends' Whatsapp prayer platforms, and those who participate by either having attended sessions or through sharing prayer requests or/and Glory to God reports. The family and friends zoom prayer sessions are interactive and are scheduled on a Friday from 21:00 hrs to 21:44 hrs GMT(9 pm-9.44 pm). Time is the same if you are joining from West Africa.

[04/11, 20:27]TJ: (Then provided this update later the same day)Thank you all so much for your prayer for my father SC today. His headache has gone and they could find nothing wrong.No bleed on the brain as expected or anything else after a day of tests. He was only told to come back in if happens again. God answers prayer Amen.
Prayer Request: Could u continue to pray for my dad C that ulcers that have been on his feet for over a year will go for good and 'MS' will go and his back will straighten up and he will be able to walk.
Also for my fever and cold cough diarrhea to go in Jesus' name also and for my Son 'J' to find Jesus. Bless you, all.
Accra, Ghana[28/10, 11:07] Sis JCY: I have a prayer request. My sister 'A' fell sick suddenly on Monday. She was discharged from the hospital yesterday. Let's pray for a speedy recovery and for God's provision for all the resources needed to speed up her recovery.

💬From John.W: My friend Rev Sammy Lartey has been reaching the Volta Region, Ghana, with the Gospel since I was a teenager in the mid-1980s. In the above clip, one of his daughters leads a praise session during an evening Open air Outreach Campaign.
22nd February 2022: Last year he asked for our prayer support before going on the series of outreaches during the year. He lost his father this year after a period of illness. God has also blessed him and his wife with Evelyn with their first grandchild. Please continue to pray for him and his Team and for financial support from all who believe in what they are doing.....evangelizing the Volta Region of Ghana.

I feel that they both are in bondage. They don’t listen to anyone and live in their own world. Their father can’t do anything and I can’t do anything to change their mind. They both are happy where they are, but they are not in their right mind.
