Bad Guy types and why they are every Princess' Guilty Pleasure Part 2

Years have gone by and Daddy's little girl has continued her graceful evolvement from one 12 month season to the next. Her maturity, her increased self awareness obvious for all to see. Mummy has certainly noticed that their 'little girl' is no longer that much of a little girl. Even the older boys in their community have began to notice her, especially her physiological development.  They are already beginning to think hormonal thoughts upon setting their gaze on her. The so called Daddy's girl is approaching age 15. But in Daddy's eyes she will ALWAYS be her little girl!

When he calls her by his favourite affectionate names for her it is so sweet! But these are the same names he has called her since she was age 4. She is smart enough to observe that her Daddy has remained stuck in her pre adolescent years so far as reading her is concerned! So she protests in saying I am no longer a little girl, to which his response is nearly always 'yes I know and acknowledge that.....but to your daddy you will always be my little girl'. So Daddy continues to address her with affectionate sweet nothings as his little girl rushes through puberty, with her interest in a different kind of world she is becoming more aware of ! This world is the world of boys, and potentially men. This is the world she knows her Daddy has been a part of all his life. Her curiosity is constantly being aroused to this world and sometimes this appears all consuming to her 15 year old self!

She wants answers to her questions, about why she feels a certain way around some boys?
She wants to understand the rush of excitement she feels when she is around some boys and even older guys? Why she has her personal.....ohh really private dreamsπŸ™„πŸ™„ about getting to know.....just a bit more ....pleeeeeeese......about this particular boy in her school!!πŸ˜΄πŸ€”Why she has a crush  on some boy types, even total strangers she has never met and may never meet because they
are only TV characters? Yet she is drawn to watch this particular movie again and again, not because of the storyline, as daddy boringly thinks but because she has a crush on the main character, a boy
who is about her age. Slowly.....gradually......and then quickly.....she is fast becoming aware of this passion inside her which is becoming easily aroused.
She has questions. Dozens of them! Even more questions stir up in her watching certain movies:
When watching rom com types, after sneaking on Netflix to watch those in the 15  plus and even 18 plus age category, the arousal and excitement carries into her sleep.
On Some days she can hardly focus on her school work! Oh how boring school work is! Except for those class sessions where she is involved in group work sessions with that cute boy who 'literally' exudes l-o-v-e and at times a sense of p-a-s-s-i-o-n in her. All she wants to do is read read and devour romantic story lines. Chick flicks of a older category. Because she has questions, endless questions and she wants to discover about this fascinating world of boys and men!

But ohh how naive of this daddy !! He completely misses the glaring signs! The clearest indicators highlighting the developmental changes in his puberty transitioning 'little girl' ! He is unaware of her need of him more than ever! The need to help steer her through this turbulent phase of her life!

To say his response to a maturing teen is inadequate would be the understatement of the century!Truth is, if Daddy perceives his 15 year old as his 'eternal sweet little girl'  then his responses to her questions will be as they have always been. Certainly not as the should be in addressing her growing need for guidance through the turbulence of puberty. But notwithstanding her emotional development which isn't always so obvious at puberty to an oblivious dad, other changes such as the physiological in his daughter ought to be glaring enough for him to respond to!

If he happens to be a man knowledgeable about science then what a real shame! No! Then it should be inexcusable! A complete dereliction of his fatherly responsibility.

He ought not to live in denial. Conversations may be awkward at first but it needs to go beyond what she shouldn't be doing. Talks of censorship and 'protecting' his little girl from the 'evil' out there? Really? That should not even factor in their conversation!!

Daddy needs to wake up and real soon too! Because as some families have learnt the painful and hard way there is potentially a far greater danger to the now maturing little girl if she stumbles into puberty only armed with her naivety! I mean when she is not supported with the knowledge and appropriate information!!

Somebody needs to please alert her daddy to the following in case he has missexd it:

❗️In the last two to three years now  a sleeping tigress of passion has been aroused in his little girl.
❗️During this period she has experienced puberty with such a wealth of hormonal evolvement that has rewired her outlook ready to transition into womanhood.
❗️She is no longer your little girl in the sense of physiology and psychology.
❗️Daddy stop speaking to and addressing the innocent lamb/little girl in her.
❗️ Daddy start addressing her questions about the world you are a part of!

❗️ She wants to find out about boys, so be transparent and speak to her from your own evolvement.
❗️ Do not wait for her to find out first hand through experimenting.
❗️ Because if you do, it is likely to be an experiment overseen by a bad guy type!

❗️When a parent fails to speak to the stirring embodiment of hormones' that constantly send passion inducing chemical impulses  in their daughter Bad guy types can easily step in.

!They are the only ones of her age claiming to have the kind of answers she is yearning for.
❗️ Bad guy types exist is all ages. They may be emotionally immature themselves. But they have become streetwise enough to recognise the need in your daughter.
❗️So if you are a Daddy reading this or you know of any who needs to be hearing this! Please alert them to the potential danger their puberty transitioning daughter faces.

πŸ””Ask them to look really well....look further when gazing into 'their little girl's eyes and if they are transitioning into puberty perhaps this daddy will care to notice a bridled tigress of passion that is a part of her, which she is perhaps becoming increasingly aware of during puberty.

A daddy's silence and what he leaves unsaid is the inroad that bad guy types seek
access to. Because bad guy types have learnt to recognise their potential victims. They can spot a growing emotionally naive girl,  desperate for answers! so caught up in the curiosity surrounding them,. It is this nature almost biological need to understand, to know, to explore that the bad guy types look out for.

This blog is the chronicling of a frequently  occuring phenomenon among puberty transitioning girls. They are vulnerable and  this often leads to tragic events. The rate of adult women of all ages who have been victims of this very predictable pattern of events attests to this.
In a lot of cases, parents and guardians often miss the signs. This may be occuring Dear Daddy or mummy, my message to you is that there may be a tragedy of significant emotional proportions about to happen in your own family. Something that could affect your child's mental health for most of their adult life.

You Daddy, or mummy  are about to loose your little girl on the altar of self violation unless you become more of a skillful therapist. carefully prepared from an unsuspecting source. So begin and take a very close look at the innocent rose under your very nose.
Begin speaking not only into the lamb in your daughter's  personality symbolised by the look of innocence in your 'little girl' but speak to the unbridled tigress of passion that is also being stirred up in her mind(to be continued).

'Bad Guys' and why they are every Princess' Guilty Pleasure Part 1

When daddy sees his little girl at the door he sees an adorable sweet and precious but unique human individual. This perfect almost flawless individual, at least in the eyes of  a daddy incentivises him to do everything within his ability and some more to provide for her and to protect her.

Daddy's Little Girl, the Untamed Tigress within and The Lamb Seen in her eyes

Daddy's little girl may be 4,5, or 6 years of age. At the age she is very thrilled to have a doting Dad who is so 'large' he fills her dreams. He is the king who adores his little girl unconditionally and selflessness with all the human love and protectiveness he can muster. Everyday he stirs out of bed and rises into his working daily routine, navigating interpersonal complexities, he always looks forward to coming back to the sweet angelic welcome, from his little girl, 'Daddy I have missed you', 'Daddy what did you get me from the shops' and  Daddy eventually ends his day in dream land lulled to sleep with the melodious ring of 'Daddy I love you' after reading his little girl and his little boy a bedtime story. As Daddy goes to retire he cannot imagine even heaven being as wonderful as this.
He knows that 'his little girl' , his beautiful princess must be an angel in human form. He breaths a prayer constantly asking for the Creator to preserve this relationship between him and his little girl and her sibling/s for a lifetime. He knows if that prayer is answered, he would want nothing, or lack nothing. That is all the motivation he is ever going to need to upscale every life challenge in his way of building the the security, engaging in the responsibilities which come with being a provider, protector and all that comes with it in the small print within an unfolding future.

Years go by and Daddy's little girl continues to evolve gracefully from one 12 month season to the next one. As she matures in self awareness, from nursery to primary life unfolds. One day she returns from school and has a rather interesting conversation with Daddy that mummy had often alerted him was inevitable. Mummy had said, she is growing and would soon no longer perceive herself as your little girlπŸ€”. Daddy was amused because he interpreted this as mummy way of say she wanted more of his attentionπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ or rather wished she had been more of her own 'daddy's little girl' during childhood. 😜
Historically mummy had also been a daddy's little girl once and so daddy could not work out why she would be anticipating a scenario in which the current dynamic will change.πŸ€”πŸ€”. Because this perception coming from mummy is puzzling, Daddy adds it to the growing list of equally puzzling list of statements coming from what he generally perceives as the female mind, a treasure trove of puzzlesπŸ€”πŸ€”

Family and Friends Newsletter

🏹From John
Hi everyone,
One of my inspirations for mission work is a guy called Loren Cunningham who
founded the YWAM  missionary organisation. YWAM stands for Youth With A Mission. He is my inspiration because of a number of reasons. I want to highlight  three of them here.
πŸ’«He uses real life, first hand experience. My heart cry when it comes to Christian testimony, is to be able to relate it to practical everyday living. In his book 'Is that really you,God?', Loren shares real life actual experiences.

πŸ’«He highlights both successes and failures within his Christian journey. It has been my  experience that along with successes also come failures. Loren does not omit to include in his book, accounts detailing  personal failure(even self inflicted) and the lessons he has learnt when gradually pulling himself back after a setback or even setbacks.

πŸ’«He includes inspiring accounts of answered prayer that give Glory to God! Those    accounts which unashamedly, point to the goodness and faithfulness of God, have become
my favourite portion of Loren's account of his missionary journey. They have inspired in me, faith in the greatness of God and His ability.

This is my very first newsletter since relocating to Southbourne near Bournemouth, Dorset County, a South Western coastal town of the U.K. I will seek to follow a similar trend as highlighted above, sharing  from a) Real life experiences that I hope dear reader, you can relate to, b)Secondly be transparent in sharing about my successes and experiences of failure!πŸ˜‚ c)Thirdly , I really look forward to inspiring with accounts of answers to prayer.

🏹🏹🏹There are three main Sections to this letter. The first is Destiny Signpost part 1, which is below  and is basically personal reflections of mine garnered from attempts to process what is going on in fulfilling a call to missionary vocation. This one is called :

🏹The place of Geographical Locations in the Process of Divine Guidance.

🏹The background to this particular study is based on everyday experience. Have you wondered why the same person could vary in levels of productivity and a manifestation of personal potential from one physical environment to the other? I have wondered about this characteristic of individuals as well as sociological groups of people. Why we are influenced by variations within different physical environments for example. Because I really don't want to distract from what I set out to examine in this sign post which is ' Geographical Location and Divine Guidance' I am going to redirect my post to scriptural illustration.
🏹In reflecting on the incidences of Divine Guidance and Geographical Location, my first illustration is of a man by the name 'Abram

🏹In reflecting on the incidences of Divine Guidance and Geographical Location, my first illustration is of a man by the name 'Abram':
Genesis 12:1 Now in Haran the Lord had said to Abram,“Go away from your country,And from your relativesAnd from your father’s house,To the land which I will show you;
🏹So in the first evidence of Divine Guidance which Abraham, the Jewish and Arab 'Great grand' patriarch received, we have a very clear example of Divine Instruction to make some changes in Geographical location, from 'Haran' to a yet to be revealed location:' a land that I will show you'.
🏹What was Abram's response to the Divine Instruction he had received? He complied.
Genesis 12:4 So Abram departed in faithful obedience as the Lord had directed him; and Lot his nephew left with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he left Haran.
🏹 Sometimes whilst reading such an account, it is possible we could assume that in the case of Abram, obedience to Divine Instruction, was second nature 'easy pizzy' πŸ˜€but certainly not in our case!
🏹We are easy to recall our modern day concerns and our very complex lifestyle, certainly our commitments to our jobs, family, denomination, extracurricular social engagements that we have, and in so doing are prone to thinking that whereas it would  have been relatively easier in Abram's case to migrate, we certainly couldn't! Even when there is the clear evidence of Divine Guidance involved!(part 2 in the next issue of Look Up)

My Faith, Civility, Culture and my personal views on sexuality.

About an hour ago, I watched a video Clip by Steve Chalke founder of Oasis UK Trust on the subject of Inclusion. Steve made a number of points. Among them, he felt that there were issues of a Pastoral Care nature, that he considered even more important than resolving the theological arguments in favour of or against gay marriage. My interpretation of  what Steve was saying is, he had now decided to opt for inclusion , by extending recognition and endorsement(matrimonially) of  gay married couples in order to be in a 'legitimate' position to offer them Pastoral Care.

Background:
In a previous Facebook timeline posting, I made remarks along the following lines:

  1. Whereas I agreed with a number of things Steve Chalk had said on the video,I disagreed with the main emphasis in his 'version' of inclusion. The issue of  marriage for a lot of individuals was a question closely linked with their faith. To them, faith their belief in God(deity), was a very sacred aspect of their lives and was closely linked with upholding certain moral principles. Their belief was not necessarily as a result of arriving at a set of logical conclusions, but it was often the result of first hand experience of  God in their lives. Perhaps through a crises event.
  2. For such individuals, and I 'd like to include myself in that category, whenever there are issues to be resolved , the avenue for doing so is through directly consulting God within the privilege of prayer in order to receive a direct response form God. THIS IS WHAT IS MEANT BY HAVING A LIVING FAITH. Now if Steve had confidently argued that he had consulted with God in prayer, and God had made him aware by 'private revelation' that he could endorse and perform gay marriage, I might have disagreed, but atleast I would have to acknowledge it was between him and God. Again an issue of personal faith.
  3. I disagreed with Steve because he did not do the above(no 2). Instead he cited external influences such as impending Government legislation, and the reported experiences of individuals whose rationale for committing suicide was due to the rejection and the abuse they had become victims of , due to their sexual orientation. Steve then echoes the often rehearsed argument that if the church 'changes' or becomes more inclusive, then at least it will be meeting it's pastoral care obligations to the gay community more fully. In disagreeing with Steve on the issue, I did not highlight my views on gay marriage per se, however, I took issue with Steve's position that expression of faith had to be shaped or modified as a result of external factors such as the timing of Government legislation or the personal experience of individuals.
  4. I made the point that faith had to be politically neutral, it had to be independent of all such interferences. If it weren't of a more sustainable quality than that, then faith could not possible grow, and we might as well redefine our faith as faith in man, faith in the christian church, faith in government and not faith in God.
  5. I also cited my own experience as a 22 years old Pastor in Ghana, West Africa. Christian churches at the time were under a lot of pressure, nationally. The military Government at the time was trying to stiffle ideological, political, socio-cultural dissent. On a local level, I was a visible target because my congregation rented the same premises as the Community Public Tribunal. As a result, I was summoned to the local Commission For the Defence of the Revolution(CDR) office. The 'interrogator'(only way I could have described him) was openly hostile to my faith and what he thought we represented as a Christian church. After asking me why we were promoting a 'western style' faith(being a Christian in his opinion was non-African) instead of an African traditional faith, he issued me with an ultimatum:We were to justify our existence in the Community(show evidence of this) and he wanted me to submit my weekly sermons to be screened for dissension before delivery.
  6. Those were very stressful times in Ghana for holding on to our faith. But we addressed the issues with God in prayer, of course I did not submit my sermons for screening, knowing fully well that the CDRs acted for the government which also had a very appalling human rights record at the time.
Today I'd like to move things a little bit further from simply reacting to Steve Chalke's video statement.
(to be contd)
